Welcome to Stockbridge Primary School
Creating Lifelong Learners

A Warm Welcome from the Head Teacher
Welcome to Stockbridge Primary School and Nursery.
Our vision here at Stockbridge is ‘Creating Lifelong Learners’, and our aim is to be a safe, respectful and inclusive community where we all have the chance to play, learn, grow and develop.
We take a child-centred approach across the nursery and school and aim to meet children’s different needs and interests effectively through rich and varied curricular experiences. We continuously use feedback from children, staff and parents to improve the educational experience we provide.
We are strongly committed to working in partnership with our parents and community so please do feel welcome at any time to reach out to us with any queries you may have.
With best wishes,
Katharine Mackintosh (Head Teacher)
The Classes
Our Georgian annexe accommodates our Nursery, 2 classrooms, Service Support Officer’s office, and a General Purpose room used for Drama, Music and is also our breakfast club. This GP space also houses an independent After School Club, Daddy Day Care.

Our Guidance
We follow current Government guidance including the Realising the Ambition document which you will find on our Policies page. which provides more detail on a child centred approach to learning. Our Nursery has a wonderful garden area used by the children every day as well as a stimulating large open plan room, dining room/play area and a separate cloakroom.
